Pirates of the Caribbean VII – Captain Jack the early years.
The Pier to Pub has be run and won. Not by me, but, what a great time I had.
This was my second entry and it was just great. Relaxed before the race. Had a warm up before my wave.
Entered into the Super Vets group : 60 ~ 69.
My time was 28:06 (1.2Km). Nearly a minute better than last year. What surprised me was that I was able to just keep swimming. There was no fatigue during the race. Tired at the end though. A lot to do with the training during the year I suspect.
Held my ground (position) during the race and was not intimidated by the other swimmers. So I banged and crashed my way to the finish line. BTW there were almost 300 in my swim wave and 5000 over the day.

Everyone came to the new home. Lots of food fun and chatter. Shane, Alissa and Jack stayed a fey days.
One of the presents Jack received was a music set. Think we need to reflect on that for next time. He sure liked the trumpet. ![]()
The day was not as hot as expected (24degrees) but some got in the pool.

Chris and Dad have syndicated to race a greyhound. His kennel name is Buzz. No race name yet.
Buzz is growing up on a “farm” in Barongarook with two of his brothers. They are all happy and growing fast. Intend to have him there for about another 8 months. Then off to learn to race.
Picture here of him and dad. Buzz’s first time on a lead, thats why he looks timid. Believe me he runs and jumps all over the place.
Wednesday. We collected the trailer, checked out the cleaning done yesterday.
SMS and called the new owners that we have vacated 3 days early. They are happy.
The property was left smicko.
Mowed the lawns @ the new property and wipper sniped the edges. 20 minutes. Dam good that!
We are definitely moved. Walked to the local shop today in 5 minutes. Kaye walked into town in 10 ~ 15 minutes. ![]()
Update: No breaks or fractures, but, no training until after Christmas.
Had one of these once. Hurts physically and is extremely annoying.
Rolled ankle about 2 weeks. Try and think positive.
