Last night found us two at the pictures with the Meriba group. This is the old Quota club. Raising money for breast cancer.
The show was “The Lucky One”. This is a serious love story set in the USA. A chick flick if you want. The plot is very thin – from my male perspective, but the girls just loved it.
Be aware though there is a very hot love scene about half way.
No rating as it is a girly film.
The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel
An interesting film about an assorted group of British retirees who travel to India for their retirement.
While watching keep an eye on the background. The views and street scenes are fascinating.
The story is thin, however the acting very good. Love interests, interpersonal relationships.
The language of the Hotel manager is brilliant.
Definitely worth a watch. You will get a laugh.

Went and watched the latest Sherlock Holmes movie.
Recommend going. The storyline is good. Fast paced and intriguing, but you can keep up with it. The best is the slow-motion during the fight scenes. Yes, there are more action moments than one usually expects in this genre.
Expect all the usual, Moretti, Mycroft, a side love interest.
I do recommend it.
