We went to Hamilton to trial run our new hard floor camper.  Everything very rudimentary, but it works.

Here is a picture of our first “camp out”.

Well did you miss us?  Have been to Hawaii, Las Vegas, San Fransisco, Yosemite.

Would you believe slept 12 hours last night?

Heading off for a weekend with the Ex Techs Social Club.  Together some 35 years. Should be great.

In the meantime all is good in the Fortress of Solitude.

Tuesday the 31^st Feb , we were up and off to Daylesford for a three night stop.

Arrive at our B&B and what a room – big.  It was good to relax.  Might sound strange from retired folks, but, need time to do other things.

Ate out each night.  The restaurants and little coffee shops all do wonderful service.  Kaye and I tried all different food styles.  My favourite would be at the “Perfect Drop”.  A small cafe style that specialises in sharing plates.

Went to the Hepburn Spars and indulged.  Laying on a bubble bed, a warm salt pool and a shower called the monsoon.  We were the most relaxed and clean people in Victoria.

Took the opportunity to visit a lavender farm and the only cricket bat manufacturer in Australia.

Wandered around the shops and antique shops. All too easy.
